“AIGC-Enabled Digital and Intelligent Transformation for Lighting Companies” Advanced Training Workshop (August, Hangzhou)

According to the spirit of the document “Notice on Issuing the 2026 National- and Provincial-Level Advanced Training Program for Professional and Technical Personnel” (Zhe Ren She Ban Fa [2026] No. 59) issued by the Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the advanced training course “AIGC Empowering the Digital and Intelligent Transformation of Lighting Enterprises” has been included as a provincially self-funded project for 2026 and will be hosted by the Zhejiang Lighting Electrical Appliances Association.

I. Background and Format of the Training

Training Background: Through a three-tiered curriculum system—“Awareness–Practice–Application”—this program aims to drive the digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises, cultivate industry professionals skilled in using relevant tools, build a talent pool, and empower industry development by deeply integrating AIGC technologies into operations management, R&D, and marketing.

  1. Management Upgrade Path: Shift from experience-driven to data-driven approaches, establishing standardized, visualized, and traceable management systems to enhance operational transparency and decision-making rigor.

2. Implementation of the Three‑Product Strategy: Leverage big data analytics to accurately identify market demands, thereby advancing quality improvement, product diversification, and brand building, strengthening product differentiation and customer loyalty.

  1. Practical Application of Digital Intelligence: Collect end-to-end data across production, sales, and service processes to optimize workflows and allocate resources efficiently, helping enterprises explore digital transformation pathways and promoting high-quality, sustainable industry growth.

Training Format: The program includes thematic presentations, academic exchanges, and on-site instruction. Renowned industry experts and university scholars will deliver lectures and training sessions, complemented by field-based teaching aligned with the training themes.

II. Training Content

I. Understanding AIGC

- Cognitive Enhancement: Grasp the core differences between generative AI and reasoning AI, as well as their synergistic value.

II. Introduction to Mainstream Apps, Hands-On Practice, and Technical Research Discussions

  • Utilize AI to enable data-driven decision-making (e.g., market forecasting, cost optimization)

  • Employ AI tools to improve overall office efficiency and production productivity

  • Conduct technical research discussions on AI applications in lighting and related fields

III. Use Cases and Real-World Examples of Deep Integration Between AIGC and the Lighting Industry

  • Master AI-powered models tailored to common enterprise scenarios; leverage industry case studies to rapidly replicate successful practices

  • Explore new applications of AI‑enabled 3D printing in cultural and tourism lighting; demonstrate practical implementations of AI + 3D printing throughout the entire lifecycle of lighting products

Zhang Fan, “Introduction to Mainstream Apps, Hands-On Practice, and Technical Research Discussions”

Zhang Fan: Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor. Currently serves as Head of the Intelligent Media Department and Director of the Digital Media Technology Program at Zhejiang Media College. His primary research interests span interdisciplinary areas such as artificial intelligence, digital entertainment, and human-computer interaction. He has been appointed as a lecturer for multiple national art foundation programs, specializing in AIGC-related topics, and his AI-generated artworks were successfully selected for the inaugural Art Ten Thousand Exhibition. He has led or participated in one National Natural Science Foundation project and over ten provincial/ministerial-level projects, publishing more than twenty academic papers. At present, he primarily teaches courses such as “Artificial Intelligence and Media Arts” and “AI Game Concept Design,” while also contributing to the development of Zhejiang Province’s premier online course, “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Arts.”

Hou Minxian, “From ‘Execution Tool’ to ‘Decision-Making Partner’: The Evolution of AI”

Hou Minxian: Ph.D., Associate Professor at the School of Optoelectronics Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University; Executive Council Member of the China Illumination Society; Deputy Director of the LED Sub‑Committee under the Zhejiang Lighting Electrical Appliances Standardization Committee. He has received one Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from Zhejiang Province, one Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Zhejiang Provincial Education Commission, three Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress from the State Administration of Entry‑Exit Inspection and Quarantine, and one Outstanding Paper Award in Natural Sciences from Zhejiang Province. He has supervised twelve master’s students and one doctoral student.

Li Chungge, “Use Cases and Real-World Examples of Deep Integration Between AI and the Lighting Industry”

Li Chungge: Deputy Chief Engineer at Yongdian Lighting. Primarily responsible for R&D of outdoor lighting products, whose innovations have earned numerous certificates of scientific and technological achievement and garnered accolades in major domestic and international projects. With twenty-one years dedicated to outdoor lighting product development, he possesses an exceptionally deep understanding of lighting technology.

Cheng Tian, “Applications of AIGC in Lighting Design”

Cheng Tian: Vice President of the Yongdian Lighting Smart Lighting Research Institute in Hangzhou. With extensive experience in electronic information, artificial intelligence, and smart lighting, he excels in planning smart lighting control systems, developing core products, designing system architectures, and managing R&D efforts. He continuously promotes innovation and commercialization of smart lighting technologies, with many of his R&D achievements recognized by experts as domestically leading. He actively participates in industry standard-setting and has received prestigious awards such as the Zhongzhao Lighting Award and the Aladdin Lamp Award, along with numerous provincial honors. Holding professional qualifications as an AI engineer and senior AI trainer, he also serves as an off-campus mentor at Zhejiang University, committed to driving the upgrading of the smart lighting industry, fostering industry‑university‑research collaboration, and cultivating specialized talent.

Ma Bin, “Past, Present, and Future—The Vision of AIGC”

Ma Bin: Secretary-General of the Asian Association of Lighting Designers (AALD) and Founder of Zhongzhao Jinzhi. Living in the AIGC era, he firmly believes that data is the cornerstone of intelligence. Leveraging the AALD platform, he strives to standardize and manage industry data assets, laying a solid foundation for AI applications. At the same time, he actively explores innovative talent-development models within the AIGC context, empowering practitioners through technology to better harness AI capabilities. As the founder of Zhongzhao Jinzhi, he is working to establish a dual‑driven system of “data + talent,” guiding the lighting industry toward a transformative shift from experience‑driven to data‑driven operations.

Chen Huijun, “Applications and Design Innovations of AIGC Tools in the Lighting Industry”

Chen Huijun: A seasoned lighting designer with extensive experience in lighting design. She has led large-scale lighting projects including Guangdong Provincial Hospital Nansha Branch, Guangzhou Longping Academician Port, and GAC Nansha Science and Technology Pavilion, and has contributed to lighting designs for Guangzhou Tower South Plaza and the International Campus of South China University of Technology. She stood out prominently in the Guangzhou Tower lighting renovation competition. Skilled in architectural and landscape lighting design, she also excels in interior lighting solutions, demonstrating outstanding project coordination abilities.

Hong Yuan, “Product Innovation in the AI Era”

Hong Yuan: General Manager of Rococo Consulting Design East China Region and Vice President of the Nanjing Industrial Design Association. With long-standing experience in design and design management, he has accumulated expertise across numerous professional domains and implemented multiple modular integration and brand‑enhancement projects. Guided by the goal of improving user experience and strengthening core brand competitiveness, he leads his team in executing high‑quality projects, helping diverse clients elevate their business value and brand influence. Clients include well-known companies such as A.O. Smith, Keda Intelligent, Estun Automation, Fourier Robotics, Cloud Deep, Anke Medical, Jidan Biomedical, Youfang Medical, Nanrui Group, Shanghai Electric, CRRC, and the Palace Museum, successfully developing hundreds of market‑ready products and earning numerous international and domestic design awards, including IF, Red Dot, Taiwan Golden Pin, and Red Star Awards.

III. Training Dates, Venue, and Participants

Training dates: August 24–26, 2026 (Monday–Wednesday), totaling three days.

Training venue: Hangzhou Yongdian Lighting Co., Ltd. (No. 587 Kangxin Road, Donghu Subdistrict, Linping District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province).

Target participants: This advanced training course is open to managers and technical professionals from enterprises and institutions across Zhejiang Province involved in the lighting industry.

The training will be conducted in accordance with relevant regulations governing advanced training programs set forth by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.
