2021 Exhibition Highlights
Compared to the original Shanghai Light and Sound Exhibition, CUTEX not only highlights the innovation and application of intelligent stage performance equipment and high-end audio-video products in different application scenarios; at the same time, the addition and integration of new product categories demonstrate a new direction for cultural tourism integration:
1. Added smart interaction categories, showcasing immersive experience solutions
The participation of exhibitors related to virtual reality, augmented reality, holographic imaging, ultra-high definition, and wearable devices will present smart interaction products and the application scenarios of digital technology in culture, tourism, and entertainment at CUTEX 2021. Through the combination of cultural equipment such as sound, light, and electricity, it showcases different business formats such as immersive performances, immersive exhibitions, and immersive entertainment experiences, highlighting the collaborative innovation of cultural content and technical equipment.
As supporting activities, the conference will hold the National Museum Digital Construction Summit Forum, the Premium Cultural Tourism Project Investment Matchmaking Meeting, and the Yangtze River Delta Theater Development Forum—Future Digital Theater, among other events.
2. Cultural Digital Transformation Practice Zone, presenting the digital upgrade of cultural tourism
A brand-new zone for cultural digital transformation practices, focusing on the integrated development of technologies such as 5G+8K, big data, drones, and VR/AR equipment with audio-video, new media, and smart terminal technologies in the cultural tourism industry. The presence of cloud platforms, telecommunications companies, and audio-video integration enterprises showcases their products and services while presenting an intelligent ecosystem for cultural tourism, jointly promoting the development of digital cultural tourism business.
3. Live streaming equipment, technology and service experience zone, reflecting new trends in entertainment consumption
The upgraded live streaming equipment, technology and service experience zone brings together manufacturers of live streaming acoustic equipment, film and television equipment, computers, and network communication equipment, as well as related technology and service providers, showcasing application solutions for various scenarios such as online performances and online audio-visual content.
The experience zone will collaborate with exhibiting companies in the digital creativity sector to engage in interactions, covering fields such as e-sports, online games, online literature, animation, online audio-video, and digital music. Supporting activities involving MCN agencies, live streaming incubation bases, and e-commerce alliances will create a cross-industry integrated digital production, distribution, and consumption ecosystem to help exhibiting companies adapt to the development of new technologies, new business formats, and new consumption patterns.
2021 Concurrent Events
This year, the Exhibition will invite relevant departments and experts to interpret industry policies and hot topics, helping enterprises grasp Industry development needs. At the same time, supporting professional training and Forums will broaden enterprises' horizons for technological innovation. Some activities are as follows:
1. High-Level Forum on Digital Construction of National Museums
We invite key cultural and museum institutions across provinces and cities nationwide, including the Palace Museum, Shanghai Museum, and Nanjing Museum, along with relevant industry experts and scholars, to share innovations, explorations, and plans for China's museum digitalization from a macro perspective. At the same time, we invite enterprises providing equipment and technology to share the latest application results of technologies, equipment, and services in various fields, promoting and connecting with heads of exhibition and technical departments of museums nationwide.
2. Investment Promotion and Matchmaking Meeting for Premium Cultural Tourism Projects
This meeting gathers and selects premium cultural tourism projects from various regions to carry out themed promotion activities. It also intends to invite cultural and tourism departments (bureaus) from all provinces and cities nationwide, as well as key enterprises in the development sector and financial institutions such as Sunac, Evergrande, Fosun, OCT, and Songcheng, to participate jointly. The objectives are: first, to achieve precise matchmaking between supply and demand, finding high-quality investors for local premium cultural tourism projects and recommending promising cultural tourism projects to key investors; second, for local governments to introduce advantageous policies and project introduction needs, forming connections with key cultural tourism enterprises to empower the upgrade of the local cultural tourism Industry.
3. 2021 Night Tourism Economy and Cultural & Creative Lighting Forum
The forum, themed "New Formats in Cultural and Creative Development and Technological Advances in Night Tourism," explores multiple dimensions including the excavation and integration of culture and arts, planning, design and operation of night tourism projects, and implementation and application of lighting projection and multimedia technologies. Leveraging advanced technologies such as multimedia, projection, and AR/VR, it integrates light, culture, and creativity into public art spaces and scenic areas to create core nighttime attractions.
4. Yangtze River Delta Theater Technology Trends Forum — Future Theater
The forum focuses on theater digitalization and immersive theaters, exploring how theater performances can leverage multimedia, AR/VR, AI, and other technologies to achieve online performances, utilizing technological equipment to integrate art with technology and enhance the digitalization of theater performances in the Yangtze River Delta. It examines how new technologies can bring breakthrough changes to "immersive" performing arts, leading the development direction of future theaters. In the future, "immersive theaters" will not only provide new vitality and development directions for performing arts but also empower the shaping of urban culture and enhance urban charm.
