The 20th Chengdu Building and Decoration Materials Expo
From August 20 to 22, the 20th Chengdu Building and Decoration Materials Expo (abbreviated as: Chengdu Jianbohui) will grandly open at the China Western International Expo City. This exhibition will revolve around five major themes: "Design Empowering the Industry · Insight into Industry Trends · Matching Business Supply and Demand · Mastering Smart Marketing · Supporting New Product Development," hosting over 20 exciting events to promote post-pandemic industry development.

The important role of design in outdoor and home decoration is self-evident. As a field that industry enterprises hope to expand into, the exhibition will provide an efficient platform for enterprises to expand their designer channels through a series of design activities.
2020 China Jingkunpeng Design Competition Award Ceremony, High-Level Forum and Exhibition of Outstanding Works

Event highlights: Co-hosted by provincial interior decoration associations in China, open to global submissions; nearly 20,000 designers worldwide have participated to date. The jury comprises 16 senior industry experts/deans. After multiple rounds of preliminary review, four Gold Awards will be selected and presented on-site through presentations and voting. Renowned Italian designer David Condi will deliver a keynote speech on design at the ceremony.
Twin-City Economy Era: Design Wins the Future — Interior Design Embraces Innovation and Diversification

"Insight into Industry Trends" Theme Section
As the largest industry exhibition in central and western China, the Chengdu Building Materials Expo invites industry leaders to engage deeply with municipal, engineering, decoration sectors, and distributors. By focusing on the upstream and downstream supply chain of the home building materials industry, it concurrently hosts 15 thematic forums and activities to provide more comprehensive services to industry professionals and enhance the value of the exhibition platform.

Event highlights: Co-hosted with the Waterproofing Professional Committee of the Sichuan Interior Decoration Association, themed “A Community of Shared Future for the Waterproofing Industry — Scientific Leak Stopping and Systematic Waterproofing.” Technical experts who have made special contributions to the waterproofing industry, including Ye Linbiao, and Professor and doctoral supervisor Sun Zhenping from the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Tongji University, will deliver keynote speeches on waterproofing technologies. During the forum, a “Systematic Waterproofing and Scientific Leak Stopping Popular Science Exhibition Center” pavilion will be set up outside the forum activity area by the Waterproofing Professional Committee of the Provincial Interior Decoration Association.
