As a key themed event for interior designers, the 2020 China Jing Kunpeng Design Competition was hosted in 2019 by the exhibition organizing committee in collaboration with interior decoration associations from eight central and western provinces. The judging panel consisted of renowned domestic design experts. The competition received 13,552 entries from 7,836 designers, including 264 submissions from designers in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The 2020 competition has been newly launched, co-hosted by interior decoration associations across all provinces in China, and jointly organized by Informa Tianyi Exhibition Co., Ltd. and the Furnishing Committee of the Sichuan Interior Decoration Association. With a judging team composed of renowned design experts from home and abroad, the competition boasts a wider reach, a stronger and more authoritative judging panel, and is expected to attract over 15,000 designers. The awards ceremony and exhibition of winning works will be held concurrently at the exhibition site. Renowned design experts from the judging panel, both domestic and international, will be invited as main guests to host a summit forum for the design industry. At that time, the award-winning works of the competition will not only be displayed on-site, but dozens of leading figures and experts in the field of landscape planning and design from both international and domestic circles will also be invited to hold forums and deliver speeches.
