Schreder Residential Lighting Project in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium

Houthalen-Helchteren is the capital city of the Limbourg province in Belgium. In 2015, considering the need for energy saving and emission reduction, the local government decided that all lighting projects in the city must adopt LED technology.

In a residential development project in the suburbs, the government decided to adopt efficient and aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions. Since cars, pedestrians, and cyclists pass through this area, the luminaires must ensure good visibility on roadways, bicycle lanes, and sidewalks, creating a sense of security for residents and encouraging them to go out at night.

To meet these requirements, the local government decided to use TECEO luminaires, which have been certified by the Belgian lighting operator Snyegrid. The certification includes rigorous testing of light distribution, electrical, thermal management, and mechanical aspects, ensuring the high quality and lasting efficiency of the lighting solution.

TECEO's efficient light distribution ensures illuminance levels meet road lighting requirements while reducing energy consumption. The white light from the LED improves road visibility, making the nighttime environment safer and more comfortable. Moreover, TECEO's design aligns perfectly with the modern architectural style of residential areas.

To further enhance the landscape of this area, Thylia poles were selected to install TECEO luminaires. This combination, featuring a tree-like design, gives this residential area a distinct character.
